I joined UFI at the beginning of 2020 when I was looking to move back to BC to raise my family. After spending 6 years in public accounting I was looking to make a change and UFI was the perfect opportunity. The training they provided on the logistics side, combined with the accounting and finance experience I brought has helped me excel at this position. I moved back home to BC in late 2020 with the sole purpose of being closer to family & having the hopes of developing a better work / life balance for myself. From the moment I started having conversations with the team at Universal Freight I knew they were different – they were better than other employers out there. Spending years in dispatching & customer service I was able to bring those tools with me and use them, but Universal Freight has shown me so much more.
